Where's the best place for a small FFL to get stripped receivers? |

Sounds like you just need to hit the dealers portals for the different distributors. Lipseys, Sports South, MGE, Davidsons, RSR, Zanders...etc. With Ruger purchasing Anderson and then selling part ownership off to Beretta, I'd guess that they maybe clearing Anderson marked lowers out at a decent price. If you are going for the budget market, anything more than $45-50 out the door (Tax and any fees) for the customer is probably going to be slow seller. |

MGE & Zanders have been my go to for GLFA billet & Franklin forged. $55 is my wholesale price and I sell them by the pair - they don't last the weekend. If someone's whining about $50 lowers they can go wait on PSA to ship. Andersons are gone. |

In my area there are several shops that have know brands sitting in the case for months that were priced $75+ and a couple of shops with $40-60 anderson and similar branded lowers in a budget price range. The budget lowers regularly were going out of stock while those known brands sat. It's likely a regional thing and as I mentioned, I can see a little bit higher prices at a gun show because a lot of folks walking in there have paid to get in to get something and they are more motivated to find that something even if it's a few bucks more than they would like. |
