What do you prefer? Debating mag well lip or the bottom of receiver by the trigger right now. |

On an AR15 I try to avoid the sides of the receiver if possible. If there is enough flare on the inside of the mag well that would be my first choice. If the trigger guard is molded into the receiver like the Aero Precision M4E1 lowers then the bottom of the trigger guard or regular receivers inside the trigger guard on either side of the trigger hole. If those places aren’t available I use the front of the mag well. |

| Tar Heel State Firearms is who I used for my one and only SBR (so far). They were great, they shipped it back to me the day after they received it. They barely had it 24 hours. I did by the trigger and it looks great. $30 for the service and $15 shipping back to me. So around $60 altogether with shipping to them. |

I bought the cheap letter stamps off of Amazon. If you can secure your lower in a vise, it's doable. Looks all jinky if you don't have the jig. But still doable. Just hit the mother trucking stamp hard. Found a local place that will laser engrave for $50. So will probably go that route. |

Between the Ballistic Advantage M4E1’s, Andersons and a few other random lowers I’m at $500 if I have my local shop engrave them. I’m looking at buying an engraver. $1000-$1500 for a decent basic setup. Hmmmm, wonder if anyone have ever tried to finish a 80% lower with fiber laser…….. |
