I have a Bergara Ridge and have noticed that it has been scratching my brass. Upon inspection it appears to be the  left side feed rail scratching the brass when the bolt is picking a round off the internal magazine follower. Should this be something sent back to the manufacturer? I tried hitting the rail with a fine jeweler file but it’s still scratching the brass and I did not detect any burrs.

Try a magpul mag, see what happens.
Metal feed lips can be ridiculously sharp.

It’s internally box feed. I have a Hawkins Oberndorf BDL Bottom Metal with a Wyatt Magazine Box installed.
