I am considering spraying on some finishes like Gunkote or Duracoat. Mostly just for small jobs. Maybe a handguard or lower reciver. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap simple airbrush thar will work? I would preffer cheap but know sometimes something is so cheap it leaks everywhere or doesnt work. But i might only use this for a few projects. Mostly i like my rifles rattlecaned or black. But i have two builds that I am playing with "matching". Not sure it is really my thing but having fun giving it a try. |

@Dana They are Chinesium, but these guys make a pretty good airbrush for the money. For what you want, I would recommend the swallowtail and maybe get a fan cap. https://www.gaahleri.com/products/gaahleri-airbrush-ghac-swallowtail-barbatos I used this gun to clearcoat my NSX model. You'll want to see what your coating instructions say, but I have excellent results at 18psi. Attached File |

I've used the above airbrush as well. No issues with it, but I prefer the wide and narrow fan an HVLP. Before I got a few LPH80's I did all my coating about a year using these. They worked extremely well for the cost and are easy to clean.
