There's a guy local to me offering a rifle up, but it is a 1/9.
How hard is it to get a 1/7 barrel onto one of these? Say with a pinned Griffin Flash hider? Can one buy stripped barrels and not the whole assembly cheaper? 1/9 probably wont work well with my nosler 77s. |

I bought a surplus 18.5 barrel in 1-7 from jse surplus for $80 and had it cut to 13.5. I then pin and welded a Surefire on myself. I have no idea if they are still available. It came with the gas block, qd barrel nut, and just needed the piston parts.
There are several options for barrels but few are cheap or quick. My 1-9 16.5 worked good with 77 but it liked 69’s a little better. |
