I am getting a Henry 327 Fed carbine, should be in tomorrow. It has the funky "1.5" lever loop. I dislike normal large loop guns, but the 16" only come with this enlarged loop. They don't seem to offer the small loop as an option or aftermarket part. Now, I'm not sure that I'll hate the loop it comes with, but if I do can another part be swapped in, is there a secret source for a normal loop, any options I am missing? Thanks. |

@Ohio I'd suggest calling Henry on Monday. They may sell them that way if not on their parts website. Gunpartsco (aka Numrich) has them in stock (used). https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1710800 The Henry you have coming is a H006 model big boy right? You want the one the RIFLE standard sized lever that looks a long oval and not the kind of "D" looking one the carbine has right? If so I still have the stock one from my Big Boy 44 brass rifle that I put the large loop on. Had to go find it to get a photo. This one?  |
