I have a NATO Aug. I bought a new trigger pack from Steyr and a used correct stock off of the EE. Swapped the action over to the new stock and I have a dead trigger. The trigger bars don't seem to go far enough to release the hammer? The trigger is gritty and does drag. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. |

There's a high probability that the used stock has a mal adjusted trigger bar. Likely, someone had been messing with it before and taken it out.And then decided they were going to sell it , and just threw it back in there , all gald assed. I recommend that you\nTake the trigger bar out, make sure you look up the directions for it.But it's easy it's a single screw , but then you do need to also take the safety out as well , which is also easy. Examine the trigger bar and lay it on a flat surface like a glass table, top or something like that.Make sure it's not warped or bent and examine it for burrs, then reinstall the trigger bar.But this time , make sure that you do it correctly in accordance with directions. TnSteyr has an excellent video about adjusting the oem trigger bar. |

I say defective because it won't work as intended but you are correct it is the trigger bar not hte stock. I spoke to Steyr, an actual gunsmith there with a heavy Austrian accent. They are shipping me new trigger bars. $50 so not terrible. Hopefully the sellar will cover the cost on those. |
