I just redid the pin and weld on my SCAR 16S NRCH 14” to run the extended length HUXWRX flash hider. I put on the Flow 556k, and the recoil was harder than usual. I put the gas block switch to the suppressed setting, and I had no issues 200 rounds of shooting. I got 4 o’clock ejection, brass flew maybe 5 feet or so. I maybe have 1000 rounds or so on the can. Maybe I need to go ahead and clean it. I thought I could go 2500 rounds but maybe not. Thoughts? I am also going to try the Flow 762 Ti the next time I go out. People tell me it works better on 5.56 guns than even the Flow 556k due to the larger volume. |

I run the KNS discarder and a 5.56K. The recoil is noticeably sharper without that can. Not that it's bad, but its' so stupid mild with that can on. Same story with an XCR. The Scar does run a little dirty even with the low pressure can, but it's not terrible. Ejection is around 4:00, IIRC. I clean it with the Breakthrough solution once every so often....no problems yet. |

I always felt like mine reduced the recoil impulse. Maybe it was just me? But when it was clean and newish it did a much better job. Just got it back from a full clean and detail. I put it away very dirty 5 years ago and couldn't even get the two halves to attach. Highly recommend more frequent cleanings and removing the mount as well. |

 Softest shooting 5.56 I own. Hux Ti, 11.25" barrel chop by PMM years ago, have no idea what jet they installed but its epic. |

Attached File I cleaned the Flow 556k can with HUXWRX's suppressor sauce cleaning kit. Now, little back pressure on the non-suppressed gas setting. It just barely cycles on the suppressed gas setting. I typically use good quality factory 5.56 ammo. It's not like I was feeding it steel cased. What upsets me is I probably had < 1000 rounds through it over a year. I guess that was enough, given the long time frame, to gunk things up. It sucks though knowing I'll have to buy a HUXWRC suppressor sauce cleaning kit every 1000-2000 rounds for this Flow 556k can. I have more rounds through the other pictures 762 Flow Ti can, and it still looks good as new. I guess I'll clean it this winter for good measure, but I have not noticed any performance issues. Maybe due to the higher volume of the suppressor? The suppressor sauce by HUXWRX works as advertised. I dunked the suppressor for 1 hour in the "Part A" solution, then 2 hours in "Part B". Voila, clean as a whistle. There is enough powder stuff and Activator "A" left over to use on a second suppressor. Only downside is you are still using chemicals. I wore purple nitrile gloves and did this in my garage. |
