| I just bought my first one from Pyramid Air, a Weihrauch HW50S. Really a nice spring air gun, puts my Gamo Varmint to shame and is a lot nicer than my RWS 94 (A rebadged Cometa 400). Not a powerhouse but finely made and built for accuracy. I shot it today at 15 meters with the iron sights and did pretty good but my nearly 70 year old eyes struggled so I may top it with a spare UTG air gun scope. |

Not only a tack driver but will go through a paperback book... If you order frome overseas its 1/3 less... at least it was b/f tariffs murder on gray squirrels:

| Krale is the over seas site. They ship stupid fast though customs may be slowing them down lately. I use a Leupold 4x on my R8 and did a Maccarri seal and spring to smooth it up some. Just wish the comb on the stock was not so high for open sight use. Hard to get low enough on it for my Williams Diopter sight I added to the rear dovetail. Mine is super accurate with the old Crosman .22 14.3gr HPs from walmart. Shoots them around 680 fps. |

| Whoops I meant R9. It was close in stock form but I wanted a smoother cocking cycle and the twang was bad. Broke it open and lined the spring inside the piston with a water bottle, fitted a new piston seal, polished the spring and pivot points. The Macarri kit has a slightly shorter stouter spring and works great. |

The guy ordered scope rings from Krale,under $100. Got nailed with import fees of $38.39 on the order. Sounds like the amount ordered doesn't matter. |

| HW30S and HW50S in .177 here, used to have an HW97K in .22. The 30 and 50 are great, light-weight, accurate, easy to cock (especially the 30), and just a ton of fun in general. The 97K was also amazing, but I opted to keep a TX200HC instead as it was lighter, shorter, and a bit easier to work on overall. I’d buy another in a heartbeat for the right price, though! |
