I have an FNC, rarely shoot it. It's nice but I'd rather have a SMG that I can blast away at a plate range. I owned a full size Uzi years ago - was a big boat anchor, and traded it plus cash for a Mini - good trade. But FA the full size is fun. I'm thinking of looking into a FNC to Uzi trade, if I could find a deal who's interested. List prices, using NFA Dealer, is the FNC is a couple of grand more than the Vector Uzi's, and 3-4 grand more than the RR conversions. But those are all list prices, and I know trade in doesn't get you that. Who's done a MG for MG trade, and what general trade in percentage did you get, compared to what the dealer was trying to sell one for? Thanks, |

Whatever the big dealers are buying them for is roughly what they’ll offer you for your trade. Like the guy said above, that’s realistically 50-75% (especially in this market). The way to start the process is to get in touch with as many dealers as you can and compare offers. The other option is to sell outright, privately, and then buy what you want. It’s a little more work, but gets you the same outcome — and you’ll save some money. The question really seems to be how much (time and money) you have into what you want to sell. If you’ve owned your FNC or M10 for 25 years, whatever a dealer gives you will be significantly higher than what you paid, obviously. In that case, it may not matter to you that you’re “only” getting 70% of current market value if it gets you into exactly what you want. |

Have you looked at the ma11 with lage uppers? I love mine, it’s a ton of fun, fairly light weigh and has a lot of options to playa round with. My m16 is my favorite transferable but I shoot my m11 way more. |
