Not looking for load data. I am using it and it seems to be working well in a bolt action. Hell of a kick but it isn`t a .22. Not looking for a source either as the powder may be out of production now. Folks, the components for reloading that caliber is getting out of control. Glad I bought earlier in life Big grin when I pull the trigger. If you don`t use it, question #2. What powder are you using? Comments? |

I use H50BMG from Hodgden... Its consistant in loading and burns very clean... I figure if i am spending the money on the gun, might as well feed it good powder. Plus i dont have to refigure my loads every time i get a surplus powder. If i was running a M2 I would look for the cheapest powder. But my M82 is special and gets fed well..

I have the IMR powder mainly and also H50 BMG powder. Haven`t worked up any loads yet with the H50 BMG propellant but I have heard that a lot of folks use it for the BIG caliber guns. |

I'm still loading with wc867 virgin that I got from Wideners about 16 years ago. $300 to my door for 48 pounds. It's great for M33 and API's. It is temp sensitive so I stick with H50BMG if I'm loading for consistent accuracy. I have never encountered 5010 and think I'm the only 50 owner that doesn't even know what the can looks like  Still reloading API's and M33 for $1 and $1.15 respectively with components i stacked long ago. Ill cry when I have to buy primers again. Last batch of 500 cost me $190. |

Glad I bought powder before the shit storm. Primers, powder, brass and projectiles. They aren`t as cheap as they used to be. My wallet will cry when I have to purchase again. |
| I stocked up bigly on components when my EDM Windrunner moved in around '95. There is a .50BMG ammo can full of virgin ball projos that await loading. I will expire before any of my fifty supplies run out, even after acquiring a hungry Lynx. Although the five round mags tend to rein in its appetite. |

Years ago I bought a lot of stuff for a .50 Spotter-Tracer bolt action rifle, but so far no rifle. But back then, just in case, I bought and still have: 28 lbs IMR 7383 48 lbs WC 860 1,100 virgin S-T brass 500 AP, 500 IN, 1,000 TR and 1,000 S-T projos BUT I NEVER BOTHERED TO BUY PRIMERS!  |

Used a hell of a lot of 5010. Finally used up all my 8lb kegs i scored off of gibrass.com from years ago. Metered great and burned clean. |
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.
