| I designed an adjustable gas block for my bfg50a that I’m going to make for myself. I was wondering if there was any kind of market for something like that. If anyone would be interested let me know. If I get enough interest maybe we can get a small batch going. I’ll throw up a poll. |

I bought a spare gas block from Serbu to make it adjustable. Didn't want to screw the original up and have the gun inoperable. I've had the Rex MG50 suppressor for probably about two years and just recently got off my butt and got my serbu brake off. Was going to machine a tapered end on a bolt that went into the gas tube and use a jam nut to hold for now. I suspect once I shoot suppressed I won't shoot much w/o it and I can just leave it set. Wasn't going to do a spring detent or anything for now. The thickness of the block on the end of the gas tube is only 0.1" so not a ton for threads. The other idea was to make a rotating sleeve w/ slots or holes (like some AKs) but one that slipped inside the gas block and restricted the transfer port. I could make one w/ an open and suppressed settings. |
