I stepped away from my previous CC processing support due to fees. I see a couple other options out there now. Is anyone using TacticalPay for CC processing?

I think my company is Firstview, but I don't' know if that's their name or just their website to look at my account.  I pay around 3%.

Their online chat says she's w/ Merchant Services of Firstview.
I sell firearms produced by the finest child labor in the world, be it Filipino, Muslim, Mormon, Arizonan, or Texan.

Has anyone checked into fflpaymentprocessing.com?

They claim to have great rates and they are run by good people

Firstview is my "reporting" portal
SwipeSimple is my mobile card reader provider
The "actual" merchant account is from Fortis (formerly Blue Dog).

Before BlueDog/Fortis, I was with Clearent.

I'm about to dump BlueDog/Fortis because of fees.  Yes, in theory, I pay 2.0% on "qualified" charges, and 2.9% on "mid-qualified" charges and 3.5% on "non-qualified" charges. "Qualified" means the customer uses a basic bitch card (i.e. ZERO rewards program.). Who has that these days?  Nobody.  "Mid-qualified" rate should apply to rewards cards, and "Non-qualified" should be those few times I manually punch in a number.  Somehow, even with doing PCI-DSS/SAQ compliance, nearly 100% tapped/dipped card-present processing, I'm still paying "non-qualified" rates....

But the percentage is just "the tip of the iceberg" on the cost:
Monthly Maintenance/Statement Fee: $11.95
Monthly Fee: $9.95
Breach Protection fee: $7.95
SwipeSimple Fee: $9.95

So even without processing a single charge, I'm looking at $39.80, plus any actual processing fees.  And due to changes in WA State law, my "sales" volume is way down, and I barely process cards at all now.  I'm basically just doing transfers now, and even then, to avoid onerous, outrageous compliance costs, I have to keep sales below $1,000/month.  Hardly worth the squeeze, so after my FFL expires in May 2026, I may not renew it.

January 2025's actual cost to process was 18.5% because of very low volume on cards ($200) , and February 2025 was 7.3% because card sales jumped up to $834.  My highest card volume month ever, the fully-baked cost to take cards was still 3.8%.

Square would be the better choice for me, given the no monthly minimum, but their ToS is bullshit.
