Well? I thought this might be useful to have, since I waited too long on Sarge's drop zone, and now all the m27 links are sold out! Anyone got a source for another 1k new m27 links that aren't charging insane amounts of money? Feel free to post anything you find that's in stock and a good deal for belt feds! |

I'm thinking that 12" barrel needs an intermediate gas tube length, between a carbine and pistol. It's not a mag fed gun. Tony |

Of course I am the black sheep here, but I am not a fan of trying to run a gas gun with a super quick short slap-blast of gas through a big gas port. Just my experience here, but I prefer a smaller port with a longer dwell to get the gun running in the center of the operational window. I don't know anything about the Lima 6 though, so I am probably wrong. Tony |

Pros and cons of a small gas port with long dwell time vs large gas port with short dwell time. One possible benefit of a longer gas system with a large gas port is the gas temperature should be lower, and the pressure should be lower too. It makes up for lower pressure by having more flow. I honesly cant tell you which way is better, but I've researched it and have not found any definitive data. |

I got my links in from ammunitionstore. Looks like they still have some. They shipped fast and appear to be brand new as they described them. I'll try loading up some belts in the near future. I currently use all my SAW boxes and sacks for my RPD, so I either need to buy more or switch back to using the metal drums. Heck I could probably use more sacks anyway for the L6. I do have a 200rd woodland pattern one that is pretty sweet. But those have been getting real hard to find compared to the 100rd sacks. I have plenty of 200rd porkchop boxes from the army range dumpster, wish they threw the links in with them haha. I think I gave away 20 boxes last year. Hopefully I can find more this year. |

Neat tripod and pintle. For a much lighter/budget/occasional setup to use in a pinch, i was looking at the caldwell precision as an alternative. Granted, there's no T&E per se, but it can swing and elevate like taller tripods. Nowhere near as robust but doesn't need to carry a heavy load either. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1019605370 |

FYI, there's a seller on ebay with currently 6 ACU 100-round nutsacks available. He's asking $45, each, plus shipping, but the "Make Offer" option is available. I have no history with the seller, and the price is a bit steep compared to the past, but they appear to be the only nutsacks on ebay at this time and prices are climbing as Lima-6 buyers are entering the market. |

With the Marines having moved to the M27 and the Army making the swap to the M250, you'd expect more nutsacks to come up for sale. With the M249s, Fightlite, and now Lima-6, on the market, the demand is definitely increasing more than the supply. |

The RTG boxes do not fit my lima 6 printed adapter. They are wider and possibly at a slightly different angle. Im gonna have to modify and print an adapter just for them it seems . More likely, Ill wait until I can find military ones and sell these RTG ones. Its a shame, since the RTG ones are new they aren't all warped inwards so they are easier to load than my military ones |

I may try to beat them up with my heat gun and see if that helps. It's not too annoying to load, but I am wondering how feeding will be with that extra tension on the belt. |

I saw Sarge's had M13 7.62 links for what seems cheap, in case you're getting ready for the Lima Seven. Also they still have 5k new 5.56 links for $375 (+ ship and tax  )
