Hey all, does anyone here have a solid YouTube video of safety removal and reinstall? Just got a new safety from Heresy Designs but there's so many whacky/airsoft videos, and I don't know the difference in an AUG. Steyr Aug A3 M1 Waffle pattern (non nato) if it matters. Thanks! |

The trigger and linkage (wire) has to be removed first. Then the safety just pushes out. Be ready to catch the safety's flat-ish spring when it falls from the stock. Against everyone's recommendations I installed the Heresy safety. It does feel quite premium over the OEM safety, and doesn't have the "false" detent that the OEM one had. My factory safety had this weird shelf where I could go from FIRE, to SAFE, to past safe into another half detent. Didn't affect function however, just annoying. All in all though thanks for the assistance, I really like this new safety. |

I have never experienced or heard of the weird shelf issue you described. The heresy safety selector does look interesting ETA, just bought one also. I am looking forward to trying it out as it looks like a simple enough install. |
