| So I have a Vector Arms Mini UZI. They used a Group Industries full size receiver and cut it down into a mini. Sold them as semi auto carbines. I keep trying to SBR it but the ATF keeps disapproving it. First they didn't like that I put Vector Arms as the manufacturer. So then I tried again putting Group Industries as the manufacturer. Denied again!! Now they are saying they want Vector Arms!! I guess I'll just keep trying, but it's really annoying!! Glad there's no tax at least!! What do you guys think I should put on my Form 1? |
| I know this is old data and of a slightly different model, but when I paper form 1'ed my Vector full size Uzi in 2013 I had Vector listed as the manufacturer and put Group Industries under the "additional description" section. I was approved without redos then, no idea about now. |
| My full size uzi is a vector built on a group industries receiver. I submitted the form 1 with group industries and that model number. It got delayed and they asked me for photos of the markings as it wasn't in their system. I sent in the photos and got the approved form 1. Mine was an e-form a few years ago. |

| My experience is they don't care what the manufacturer calls that model. They want you to specify what is engraved on the firearm for the manufacturer and the model. Send them a picture of that engraving and specify that information in the e-forms line item and, if it's a trust, in the RP form. |
