On the hunt for a pretty specific stock adapter for a Remington 870, looking for a particular version: - I'd like to be able to fit an A2 or fixed MOE type stock or similar, whereas most adapters don't have a 'full face', lacking that bottom part and only take a 'simple' extension tube (rules out things like MESA LEO Gen II, and most others) - I'd like to have the stock below the barrel line so the MESA high adapter will not work, a bummer, because it does have that full face and takes an A2 stock. - I'd also like the stock to be parallel to the barrel, not angled down (again, the MESA high adapter would have been great, if it were below the barrel....) The MESA high version with the full face visible Attached File Not many options remain: I found the KE Arms, it requires a 1913 adapter, adding another part that is needed, but it ticks most boxes Attached File I found the DoubleStar / ACE version but cannot tell the position of the stock (high or low, angled or straight) or really any other information on it Attached File Does anyone know of any other possible options?? |

I did the ke arms, I like it but id recommend a a2 angled grip. For what I was looking to accomplish the ke arms was the best fit. I was looking to do a right folding skeletonized stock using the Sampson folder with a sbs 14in barrel and a green dot. The Mesa urbino stock i have i think looks better but I really wanted the folding stock. |

LOL, almost like you read my mind, that is pretty much the configuration I was looking to build for my breacher - SBS - right folding skeletonized stock - I was looking at the ACE version, I know that one can take a lot of beating so can still use it for pounding on a door if needed - Ghost ring sight (back up) - left side shell saddle with rail and RDS - Streamlight Racker integrated light front grip - extended mag tube - ERGO grip if it works with the adapter Any chance you have pictures of your set up? Thanks! |

| 3-D print? You could even print adapters for existing adapters, ie, lowering an existing adapter, or adding a full face to the rear of an existing adapter. You sure you want to put an A2 stock on there? That's going to make the LOP pretty long. You could print extensions for a shorty fixed stock & get it about perfect. |

@TNC - would love to see that ACE set up @Backbencher - I have enough trouble printing Word documents  I'd have to find a skilled person who could make the 3D model and then someone to print it. One of these days I really need to take the time to learn SolidWorks and get set up for 3D printing... I was taught on an old fashioned drafting table... I feel ancient...

No, I've not printed a shotgun stock. I did build an AR stock out of Legos that I proof tested on my 870 w/ 27 rounds (IIRC) of 3" 00 buck. I had 9x threaded steel rods glued into the Technic bricks in the butt of the stock. Legos are made of ABS plastic, you can print ABS plastic but it requires an enclosure and a vent to exhaust the fumes. Given that the adapter will be compressed, likely several types of plastic will work fine for a 3-D print. |

Glocks are just cast Nylon, we run 10x25mm Norma out of them to shoot Grizzly bears, right? 3-D printed Nylon isn't as strong, but a shotgun stock adapter is going to be mostly in compression. I wouldn't expect it to hold up to butt stroking a miscreant without some steel reinforcement, easy enough to have some threaded holes in the print, thread in reinforcement later. |

But I'm a bit taller than most so even if a bit long, it should still work for me  Top shottie in the picture has a different adapter (also not an 870). Can you share details? Muito obrigado! |

The Magpul rifle stock is A1 length. The Magpul MOE fixed stock looks shorter, and mounts on a carbine buffer tube. |
