I know that there are some AR parts compatible bull.Pups that use brn180 uppers , and there are b r n 180 uppers in 7.62x39. I think there is also an AR park's compatible bull.Pup that uses standard a r uppers , which could also be had in 7.62x39. What else am I missing to get myself a bullpup in 7.62x39 that has at least some ar parts compatibility? Thanks to the assist. |

I've been wanting a Grendel bullpup for a long time. There isn't one. But I hope someone makes one. A 7 63x39 unit is one barrel change away, but I'm notbaware of a US available one. There are some AK conversion experiments internationally. I'm not aware of anything that takes AR parts in the caliber. |

There are the conversion kits, the Reap SCY, A3 Tactical Triad, and the SRU Precision SARB-15 (real steal). All three are built off a standard lower. All three can use the Dead Foot Arms shortened BCG and buffer system. Then there is the AndK ARB-23, it is specifically designed bullpup lower originally designed for the Brn-180. I have used the SCY, the Triad, and the ARB-23 to make Bolt Action AR style bullpup rifles. I have built them in both 6.5 Grendel and 6 Arc. They make wonderful hunting rifles for walking or small deer blinds. |

Foxtrot Mike has been teasing a 7.62x39mm upper/rifle for a bit. They recently said it's in it's final testing phase and hopefully will be on the market soon. I believe they are going to offer it to take AK mags as well. It should either take AR mags or be pretty easy to switch bolt carriers to do so. Foxtrot Mike also sells a 'builder' kit that I have thought about using to build a 6.5Grendel or 7.62x39mm upper for my A3 Triad bullpup kit. I actually have a spare of each, but am pretty buried in projects and work right now. I currently have a 11.5" FM-15 5.56 upper on an A3 Triad bullpup kit. I really wished I had a 12.5" to get some extra room in front of the trigger guard, but I bought the 11.5" years ago at a heavy discount. |

I think someone in the hive had mated one in a bullpup chassis. One of my goals was to mate my 16" 300blk upper into my SRU chassis. The only issue I did have with SRU is not all rails will work with the chassis without some mods to be done to the rail or chassis. Probably one day I will swap the rail on my 300blk upper to another wedgelock rail. |
