At some point in the last 4-5 years, I believe someone mentioned a “cross compatible” muzzle device solution, I believe it was to use a 7.62 can on a 5.56 rifle. That said, is there any option if I’d like to use a 5.55 QDC on a 5.55 gun with 5/8x24 threads? I haven’t been able to find anything. Figured I’d post here before deciding to just use a Surefire on this particular rifle. |

Yep - exactly what I was referring to. Just no 5/8x24 for the 5.56 cans. Mis-remembered. |
