I am trying figure out what would be better for a 45ACP build, so far barrel is roughly 11". I am using an old Olympic AR15 barrel drop that I had cut down years ago. So far, I just have it threaded for the extention. Would an Integral suppressor be viable option for this project or just stick to a reflex/end of muzzle suppressor. I am going to use a Bear Creek Arsenal bolt action upper for this build so I don't have to worry about it cycling. |

Silencerco Osprey is stupid quiet with 45ACP and an 8" barrel on a DI gun, so I see no real need for a reflex on an 11" bolt gun. If you want to go semi later, look at the work Rudy at Macon Armory has done with his DI 45 uppers. |

My .45 setup here: https://c3junkie.com/?page_id=841 Using the CMMG RDB system that uses a standard extension. No gas port hole to deal with. If I want to make it a bolt action, I just swap to a .45Bushmaster bolt and it won't cycle. |
