Thanks for posting that! Have you shot anything with those rounds? Magtech seems to be one of the cheaper .44 loads out there, if it performs fine then the slight loss in velocity is a reasonable compromise. Most of what I have is Remington 180 grain soft points, Lucky Gunner chrono'd them out of the same rifle I have, a Henry X, at just over 2000fps. |

Sweet. I can’t recall what I got with my R92 in 44 mag and My Marlin with 45 Colt. Cookbook is over in the shop, But I’m pretty sure H110 24 grains with 240 SJHP was 1450fps in a 7 1/2 inch super Blackhawk, And 26 grains with 250 grain jacketed In a Redhawk 45 was 1400. |
