I have a 15P I picked up from a recent sale and rebate. Looking forward to FN offering the 300BLK barrels as parts. |

nothing is absolute
I wanted this really bad...a long time ago. I bought the Rattle Spear LT (whatever it's called) wit the 6.7" barrel when it came out and couldn't be happier. FN is so late to update and get things to the market that it's like they're trying to not sell anything. They waited until better options existed and then released this?

It would be great to have the convenience to dial gas on the fly, especially if you are switching between subs and supers with .300. Sure, you can easily play with gas jets, just not as easily as turning a dial. Would be neat if KNS could make their product work for this. |
| Understood. I posted an inexpensive alternative to it ‘beating itself to death suppressed’. In addition, there doesn’t appear to be better solutions right now, so contrary to what you posted, things have not gotten better for the 15P. Lastly, it addresses oversize gas ports straight from FN. |

Looks like they are in stock at a few places now. https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/845737015190 Called FN to get more info and I asked about the barrel twist and gas block settings for subs and supers suppressed. I was told 1/7 twist. 12o clock- subsonics - with or without a can. 10o clock- supers - with or without a can. When the call first started he asked where I was seeing it and i told him the gun deals dealer listings and at the end of the call he said he hasn’t been cleared to say anything else when I asked if FN was going to offically announce it soon. |

Thanks for the info! Glad they finally got the 300blk to market. Between this, the 6.5 Creedmoor 17S barrel assemblies, and SC stock it’s almost seems like FN is listing to their retail customers and unfucking themselves. Now if we could get a 5.56 conversion kit for the 17(and 20?) that’d be great, thanks. Now I wish I would have put a little more faith in FN and bought a 15P when guns.com had them for $1999 or with the $500 rebate that just ended because I’m sure 300blk barrel assemblies will be along shortly. Although now that I think about it buying the 300blk 15P and then picking up someone’s 5.56 barrel may be cheaper overall. |
