It's been a long time since I bought 30 Carbine ammo. Under $0.50/rd delivered is probably as good as it's going to get, right? |

I actually enjoy shooting it full auto as it is much more controllable - do a mag dump and easily keep it on target. However I keep my M2 well tuned with good parts - Aguila may or may not reliably feed and eject as several carbine peers find it jams - many carbines are old and have various wear and tear - good ammo helps them feed good and Aguila is clearly on the low end of power and likely marginal for performance. |

Has any one Used Magtech 110 grain FMJ ammo. Did it function OK? I tried PRVI PARTIZAN 110 grain FMJ ammo and found my carbine was a bit finicky on it. It may have been Magazine related. Not sure, still playing with the rifle since it’s new to me. Going to try some Korean Mags from AIM Surplus since I am ordering Ammo from them this week. |

| I just ordered some magazines from Keep Shooting, 3 15 rounders and 2 30 rounders. The first time I took the carbine out was with S&B ammo and it ran flawless. I got a box of the PRVI ammo left. I will send those down range with the new magazines and see. Also got a box of S&B left. Wish I could find the S&B ammo again in the mean time I will try out the Mag tech ammo too. |

| I got the magazines from Keep Shooting, 3 new 15 rounders. I took my Plainfield carbine to the range and it was still acting up. I used the new 15 rounders mags and it won’t feed. I tried S&B and Magtech ammo. When I pull the handle back and let go the round does not go up the feed ramp. It hangs up just before it. If I hold the mag with a little pressure on it. The rounds feed right in. Any ideas? |

You can use them on the m1 style, the issue in service was continued use would wear the M1 style catch down to were there would be feed issues. For casual range use it shouldn't be an issue. If I were to use one for SHFT or self defense I would use the M2 style release |

I said what the heck lets try these 30 round magazines. I loaded both with 5 rounds and cycled them thru, they seemed to cycle fine. So I tried the 15 rounds and they were still giving me problems. I thought it was strange the 30 rounders seemed fine. I will order the M2 magazine catch and spring plunger from Fulton Armory tomorrow and change it out. |
