Hi all, It's that time of the year again where I bring Jack Leuba out to the west coast (best coast) for another SR-25 DRCC rifle class. Two big changes this year! First, we are going to run one 3-day class this year instead of our normal two 2-day back-to-back classes that we've done in the past. This will give Jack and I another day with you, and you'll get another day shooting at the awesome 2A Ranch private range that we run the class at. Second, we are going to do a night shoot Friday night, so if you've got clip-on IR or thermal, this is for you! If you've shot with us before, then you know the drill. A good mix of short- and long-range shooting that is centered around large-frame ARs in 308/260/6.5. If you haven't shot with us before, this is THE SR-25 class to get to. Nobody knows the platform better than Jack (duh), and along with getting to shoot for 3 days with him, you'll also get to hear 3 days worth of knowledge on this history, development, and usage of the platform. The info that Jack puts out while the class is taking a break or eating lunch is worth the class fee alone if you're a KAC/SR-25 nerd like most of us are. As far as the shooting is concerned, Jack and I will take you all the way from start to finish. Gun setup, zeroing, precision employment at distance, CQB usage up close, positional shooting, data confirmation, testing multiple ammo types, cleaning/maintenance, AB Quantum walk-through, etc., we cover it all. This is a true 0-800yd class, and you'll leave with a thorough understanding of you and your gun's capabilities and limitations. We will shoot further than 800 yards, the range has steel out to 3,000 yards, but the focus is on 0-800. We will end the class Sunday afternoon with a small "mini-match" to crown a class champion. If you don't have a big gun, or just want to shoot a small frame, the smaller guns are welcome too. Round count will be close to 1,000, so start loading or buying ammo now! I have loaner gear available if you want to shoot but don't have everything quite dialed in yet. Optics, bags, mags, even guns if necessary (hello beater HK762s!). Jack also usually brings out a nice assortment of KAC stuff, so if you're debating on getting that new KAC can, this is a great way to test it on your gun before you commit to buying.
