Hello All. So I've had this dilemma and even argued, begged and exhausted all options when it reared it's ugly head. Hopefully most know the story and details regarding the XMas Cheer rifle. At the time, I missed out on getting in because I happen to be out of the country at the time. I was on this site religiously so most knew how much I appreciated KAC as a whole. Long story short, I was not the original buyer of the 1st item which was the lower receiver. A member here graciously sold me one of the ones he acquired so that was that. I participated in everything from that moment forward supplying the proof KAC required to get the next part year by year. The very last item was the barrel and bolt and others were in there feelings about who has what, who sold what, blah blah blah. I still had every part and was waiting. Either way, it was decided that if you were not the original purchaser, you could not get the final item. I was bummed obviously so I basically assembled mine with a DD barrel and have only shot it a handful of time because it's not the same thing in my eye. I've always wanted this to be 100% or as close to all KAC I could get it. TL;DR : So my question is what options or miracles are out there currently for me to complete my 11.5 XMas Cheer rifle with the exact or closest KAC barrel I can modify to get it finally to what I feel is complete?  ETA: I have a spare 14.5 Dimpled Legacy barrel that I've thought about getting cut down but that always quickly gets axed because the Carbine Mod 1 with the QDC-CQB Can is by far one of my all time favorite rifles I own and shoot the most. Having a spare barrel, CL bolt, Sandcutter BCG and Bolt rebuild kit also for it has made it my personal end of days forever fighting rifle.

| Interested to follow this thread. The Xmas cheer was just right before I got into rifles and KAC and then I was off to the army. I always read about these days and history with great fondness even though I never really participated in KAC at the time. Super cool days and I’d like to be nostalgic regardless if I missed out. |
