Anyone else had this happen? Just did a big batch of F1's 2 months ago. All came back approved but one - The charger I am building for my wife. Wanted to put a charger in a youth stock for her tiny child sized ass. Submitted form 1 Maker - Sturm Ruger model - 22 Charger Serial is correct Barrel length is correct. Form 1 was rejected and it says to put the model on the form exactly as it is on the "weapon". Well, big ass letters on the side of the receiver - 22 CHARGER. Not sure WTF else they want. Any suggestions? |

Resubmit and send a photo. I’ve had 3 like that. Waiting on them…again. Frustrating as hell. |

Just did it along with the Kuna I got back today - rejected. "wrong maker" well it says fucking springfield on the side. did it this time with pics and HS Produkt. added pics for both for those who can't read. Guess we will find out if F1's post July 1 get denied in va, because no way this shit gets done in 60 days at the pace they were moving at. These were closer to 70. |

If the ATF is going to stop allowing SBR's in VA, you are too late. The law goes into effect on 1 July 2026, that's 65 days from now. According to the Megathread for reporting wait times on the r/NFA reddit current wait time is 62 days. And it has been going up about 1 day per week for quite a while now. So by the time 62 days elapse the wait will have gone up 8 more days making the expected wait 70 days. But the good news is that VA's assault weapons ban is only on Centerfire firearms, not Rimfire. So your 10-22 won't be banned in July of this year. |

Springfield isn't the manufacturer of the Kuna, they are the importer (which should also be allowed but for some reason ATF hasn't been accepting that). Manufacturer should be HS Produkt. |

I did like 4 AR lowers already 1 10.5, 14.5, a 22LR and a stripped one. I did yet another stripped one today for S&G so I guess we will see. Logic would dictate you're not making a "new AW" and if it's already an AW then it *should* be legal but logic doesn't fit in the ATF or VA now. Aslo I guess if you put a tard button in it, it's not an AW? I have no idea and I don't really care because I have like 8 or so AR's before all this anyway and I am not putting tard buttons in any of my stuff. I don't even try and get my head around the count the features game. Though I have always wanted a wood stocked style AR with a bull barrel too. That would be neat and I may try and make one of these lowers I have laying around into that - Im sure somehow that's an AW too - not that I really care because I have the lowers coming out my ears well before some stupid July 1 deadline. |
