im pretty sure the federal ban does apply to also rimfires. Which is why u can't put a fodling stock on a new 10/22. however, CA laws doesnt prohibit collapsing/folding stocks on rimfires. So if u wait after september when the federal AW ban expires, ur good to go to put any folding/collapsing stock on ur 10/22 if u live in california, since at that point no federal or state law will apply.

I would make sure that your state law mirrors the sunset date of the AWB. Some don't, so their state will still have a similar ban in force for perpetuity. |

I saw the thread on rimfireforums.com. If you can keep the price under $200, I will be quite interested. Would buy one almost for sure, then another when my bank account recovers from building the first 10/22. If the Sierra Precision grip fits, that would definately be a plus, but I'll play with Bondo if I have to. I'll have to come up with a way to get rid of that dip above the pistol grip though, looks ugly. |

Please, please give us an update - I need a stock for my 10/22 like, yesterday. I was leaning towards a B&C anschutz, but if this is available for not too much more than $150 and will be available at least in the near future, I'd like to wait for this. However, if its gonna be a couple more months, I'll need something sooner... Thanks, Rocko |

Ok status report, Upon returning from vacation I find our casting match plate has some draft issues and is not pulling correctly (leaving "stickers" or chucks of excess material), if we are going to sell it I want it perfect. The plate is going back to machine shop for additional draft and adding material so the machine pass can clean up the sides for the "close to billet look" the thick and thin sections are a bitch to cast without producing shrink porosity. We are being told two weeks for casting another prototype with modified plate and an additional week for machining  On the bright side we hope to be spitting these out in volume around AWB sunset date. Again I am a perfectionist and want it 100% I am going to work on getting the billet ones produced in higher quantity to reduce price. Will update soon Thanks for the Patience Robert |
