If anyone needs the non-reciprocating shuttle design, ive linked to a solidoworks edrawing for it
https://www.dropbox.com/s/q6pvmh1hfjpsidc/shuttle.EPRT?dl=0 I don’t have the edrawing app installed so I can’t verify all the dimensions show up correctly. I did make it in inches vs metric and If it’s not letting you see thousandths of an inch accuracy, let me know and I’ll tweak some settings and try again. There’s a couple of oddities that weren’t readily apparent before I removed it from the gun. There’s a slight taper in the height between the charging handle hole and the slot which reduces the height slightly and I’m not entirely sure this is needed. The 2nd thing are 2 dimples towards the front (open end of the slot) that may just be used to keep it in the receiver when the handle is removed. I would start by just doing a rectangle with the handle hole and the slot and testing it’s function. If it’s getting caught up or acting funny, then do the taper and dimples. Additionally you may get away with not doing the slot. As for material, I’d suggest using delrin/acetal since it’s almost on par with aluminum for strength, fairly heat resistant, a low coefficient of friction, and of course is easily sourceable. |

Thanks I went through all this trouble before HBI came out with their adapter which is a one piece design. It looks great and direct plug & play. I'd rather go that route than try to modify parts again. |
Which logo are you referring to?
| sbr-ing a foreign gun is technically making a new firearm so 922r should be observed. I’ve heard counter claims however but I can’t quite recall their arguments.... maybe something about the wep you make it into has to have an exact duplicate outside the US for non sporting purposes so going with a stock not available via GP factory might count). With that said, (Don’t take my advice, I’m not a lawyer) as far as I know no ones ever been prosecuted specifically for 922r. |

Anything more is gravy. Again, my interpretation only. Additionally, since the "pistol grip" is an integral part of the lower "receiver", one could argue that it's not a separate item, thereby reducing the total number of imported parts to 12. However, one can also argue the Stribog's charging block counts as "bolt carrier". |
