This might be a stupid question. But i saw a bow at a pawn shop today. Just looking for something cheap to shoot carp with. I could find ANY model name or markings on it. I know Diamond makes ok bows so i took a look at it. All it said was "Diamond by Bowtech." Did they ever make one that was not labeled as a model name? I kind of think it resembled the Diamond Prisms but it was about $100 cheaper than the other Prisms. Did they make any basic models that might not have had a model name? Looking for something cheap that i can adjust down to between 35-50 pounds and about 25-26" draw length. I am new to bows but i think that is about right for me only being 5'6" and to shoot carp. It was $120 and the Prisms were $220. I know the Prism is a youth bow but i think the draw length should work and the prism was really nice and light. If the one that was $120 will work that would be nice.

| Whatever model it is, just know that you can only turn down that bow maybe 10lbs if it has 70lb limbs, next is the draw length correct for you, if its not finding modules maybe an issue. Then the next issue would be the possible need for a string change, most lean to replacing an unknown string and that'll add $150+/- depending if you can diy or have to pay someone to install. If you do buy it, try to find the manual online as it will have the info needed to properly set it for you and how to go about adjusting certain things on the bow. |
