Granddaughter took first place in the bow shoot on Saturday and second on Sunday. I was range officer and didn't shoot this year. I won 6 of our last 8 shoots. Granddaughter was in all 10. 1 first. 5 second and 4 third places. We had up to 20 contestants in the shoots so I am pretty proud of her. Targets were from 7 to 20 yards. She is the one in the back. The winners daughter had a 35 lb bow and couldn't draw it so only scored one point out of 30 possible. Granddaughter was shooting the 28 lb hickory bow I made for her. I shoot a 35 lb osage orange. Attached File The boy in the picture usually shoots as good as adults but forgot to bring his bow this year. Granddaughter offered to let him use hers but he declined. |
