I have a 72" wooden "longbow" that hasn't been shot in decades.  Is there any particular kind of string or arrow I need to be able to have some backyard fun with my kids?

Is it 72" tip to tip, or string groove to string groove?  You'll want a Dacron, Flemish twist string. You can order it from 3riversarchery.com
3-4" shorter than string groove to string groove!
Once you get the string, determine the draw weight at your draw length, to help determine what wooden arrow you'll need!!
