I removed my whisker biscuit and replaced it with a drop away and my accuracy improved measurably. Now I am wondering if switching over to quality arrows instead of those cheap chinese carbon fiber one will help and by how much. Before I felt effective range was around 30yds, now I can get out to 40 with similar results. How much more range would higher end arrows help? |

If your current arrows are not spined correctly then I would say yes you may see a little improvement. If your arrows are properly spined, even being cheap one, you likely won't see the gains in improvement from the switch. Having a bow that properly fits you and is tuned a well as it can be is where you'd possible see improvement, from there it is mostly form and technique. |
