Ready to go shoot some fish. Just a few more months! I've only had success during the spawn in the spring. Has anyone had much luck other times throughout the year?

What's a lionfish? We have carp, gar, catfish, and other rough fish here that you can shoot year-round.

Mainly carp in larger Lakes. I found them on Mudflats in the spring during the spawn but don't really know where to go other times of year.
