Just got my elite e35 in the mail today. Looking to outfit it but unsure as I’ve heard a few things. Many people have recommended starting with a thumb release vs a wrist style. Curious if that would be benifical or not. Also debating a single pin vs multi pin sight. Wondering if the single pin is going to be too complicated for a new shooter or if I’m going to kick myself in the ass for not going with one.
I won’t be hunting, just some local 3d and indoor shoots hopefully Any input appreciated |

I like Carter releases, particularly the thumb release, when you buy one you also get different weight springs to tune it to your preference.
A one pin sight is great at one particular distance and a static targets, a four pin sight when set up for 15, 25, 35, 40 or whatever you want opens up the possibility of hunting, without buying a new sight. If you have a bow (archery) shop within driving distance you might want to have a pro set up the bow for you, I just had mine restrung and the owner of the shop wouldn't let me leave until everything was perfect and I was shooting 10 ring in his shop

Trying to buy as much as I can from them but they were lacking in the release department |

Personally I use a wrist release because that is what I'm used to shooting with. I'm also a big fan of single pin adjustable sight due to it being less clutter. I just parted out my Triax and have parts listed on the EE if your interested. |
