So I nailed a doe three hours into the day and dressed her out. Lost my bolt but found blade pieces in both shoulder blades. Anyone have any easy ways to find all the metal? Or should I just toss the meat and surrounding areas? I have it isolated in the cooler right now. I thought about using the microwave to see if it would spark out? Thanks for the tips, I'm sure I won't be three last with this problem. |

I always throw out the area around the entrance and exit wounds even if I have a clean passthrough. I dont want to take any chances with ingesting any carbon splinters from the arrow. It's not like I'm shooting them in the hams or tenderloins and pitching out a noticeable amount of meat. |
