Just broke the bow out to start shooting again for the next season here in NY. When i went to draw it back, about 1/3 of the way it starts making a creaking sound. Any of you have any suggestions? I am shooting a High Country Archery Brute Force 2007. |

I wouldn't even draw that again until you get a new slide. Last thing you want is that to derail.
I'd press the bow, pull the axles all the way out out and lube them, and put on a new slide. I'm not sure if that bow has bearings or bushings in the cams, but I'd certainly check them while I had it apart. It will be a cheap fix. |

To be honest with you, I have no reasoning on why it shouldn't. HCA put warning labels on it. IDK if it is because of the split limb design and the material its made of maybe. This was my first bow and have been out of the game except for occasional target practice in the back yard this past year. I am looking for a new bow so i can set this one up for my New Bowfishing rig and retire my old Marten Lynx. I just wan tthis to get through one more season. |
