I don’t use a lot of QDs or flip sights these days but the few I’ve got, I prefer KACs for quality and MI for value.

Still have my old MBUS gen2 set.

Although I don't care for the push button spring flip mechanism. It always seemed like a strangely unnecessary feature to add that.

I much prefer the MBUS Pro style that doesn't have any push button spring deployment and you just flip it up directly. Would be nice if they made a cheaper polymer version of the Pro that still doesn't have any push button spring deployment.

If I was buying a new set today I'd buy the Gen3 version of MBUS. Costs the same as old Gen2 version and the button is only on the front without the wings on the side that got in the way of some flashlights I wanted to mount.
