| Since this thread is a little more active, I wanted to ask if anyone has a good option for a flashlight clamp that fits under the FSB? I bought a 9 dollar one from Amazon and ground as much as I dared off the sides, and I'm just about to break into the screw holes, and it still doesn't fit under. |

I never did the movie style barrel/FSB mounting but here is how I mounted on the handguards if interested. 61M weaver mounted using M4-.7 16mm cap screws drilled thru guard and heatshield. Drilled small pilot hole then removed heat shield and drilled separately for clean holes. Used #6 washers secured with M4 nuts and red threadlocker. Took the ribs down with dremel for flush fit. Still solid after about 3k rounds thru it since install.  |

Did some cleaning and organizing of all my old gun parts finally and found a Surefire 660, MGW rail, and some other things. Going to buy an M4 Delta and finally build a correct Gordon Carbine. Would anyone happen to have an Aimpoint 5000 they'd be willing to part with? |

Finally built out my clone variant of the Gordon carbine. Still need to get the AE M4-D suppressor, plus optics, light, and sling setup. Used an H&R A2 upper with a DD CHF 14.5 barrel, with Allegheny Arms & Gun Works putting the upper together when they installed the AE M4 collar. The lower is a basic PSA M16A2 with INTLMILCO LPK. Still debating which stock to use. The classic waffle stock that I've used throughout my Army career seems more comfortable than the CAR stock. Attached File |

I spent nearly a year searching for an Aimpoint 5000 with the original accessories just because those rings are so rare. |

Is this a fine lower if I decided I needed a 20” gun to add to my Blackhawk Down collection? I have a m16a4 marked lower but that would never have been correct, right? That’s like ‘98 timeframe? |

This PSA M16A2 lower is what I registered with ATF for my 14.5 build. Not clone correct, but seems decent enough for what I wanted. No issues while putting together the lower. Plus I used the H&R A2 upper. I used INTLMILCO for the LPK. Youtube - Agent Espo - CAR15 This youtuber goes over the different AR models and explains how the Blackhawk Down armorer's used the wrong rifles for the film, which has led to some issues with cloning the Gordon rifle. Around the 28 minute mark, he goes over the Colt 727 and it's use in Somalia by the Rangers. Overall, that should work, unless you want to find a surplus Colt lower or police turn-in Colt. |

Genuine late 1980s or early 1990s Vintage Colt 723 Complete Machine Gun Upper Receiver Sharing because it's old and cool and I figure some of you guys will appreciate it. Plus this thread hasn't had much activity lately. Very excited to get my grubby little hands on this Original Upper Receiver. The seller told me it was a Police Trade In, but not from which department it came from. Unlike most Police trade ins, this one's in really nice shape. There are a couple of marks on it, but the anodizing is a beautiful deep Grey, and is as smooth and even as the Parkerizing. Looking with my bore scope, the barrel has plenty of life left, and the gas port looks good. The markings make me guess it's from the late 80s or early 90s. Parentheses around the (C) on the barrel may put it on the earlier side. It has Colt Harvey forge marks, Colt Squared and Verified Proof and a milspec front pin lug, a full auto sear cut, a full auto C marked Bolt Carrier, a peel washer and what appears to be the shallow early feed ramps. This thing will really take my Gothic Serpent Delta Clone to the next level.           |
