I can accomplish the same thing on a large sheet of quarter inch graph paper with a black circle pasted on it correct? Presuming 1/4 MOA is a quarter of an inch at 25 yards then the graph paper would essentially be the same 1/4 MOA per square (at 25 yards), just harder to see from any distance. Yeah I know the target below is meters but it serves its purpose for my question.

Plays well with self, and cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

Yes, you are correct.
Of course that one explains the various click adjustments of Mil optics on the bottom.

Either way I have to do the math for where I actually want to impact at 25 yards based on the zeroing range I'm looking for such as a 50 yard zero for 5.56 62gr M855 (whatever velocity it is). with 2.6 inch sight height above bore and a 14.5 inch sight radius..... high school math and all that.
