I thought I read somewhere that they are the same.  If they are, is anyone selling just a stripped upper?  I was hoping to get another New Frontier 6.8 upper for the lower I have and build a 6arc with it but they no longer list that upper on their site.  Are there any other options?

They are the same.
I could use another upper also.
PSA sells the upper and lower sets. I don't think they sell just the upper alone.

I used a dremel to open another upper up to be able to take ICAR width mags.

Can you post some pictures of this?  Never thought about trying that but I do know that a regular upper will fit a six8 lower which surprised me.

Yeah I'll get pics, but the only thing stopping that upper from working is the ability to seat the mag, since the top of the feed lips sit in it. You can lock a mag in the lower and measure how much material you have to move by how far and wide it sticks out.

Hydra had posted last week about their new interchangeable lower and upper combo using for that 6ARC cartridge but built to the Magpul Six8 mags.
