So, building a mostly lightweight AR-10, and just wondering if anybody has experience with either the JP LMOS or the V7 Ti BCG? I already got an AGB on the way to gas the system properly. I'm leaning towards the JP, I've used a handful of LMOS in my AR-15 build with no issue. Not sure if I'd even notice the extra two ounces over the V7 too. Plus, it's cheaper. |

With a LtWt 308 BCG, just make sure you tune your Adj. GB from a fully closed position. BTW, which Adj. GB ? Most barrels tend to have oversized gas ports. Use the old school, fire one / single round, from a mag.... repeat, adjusting the GB "open" until the bolt catch functions 100% In your case ( LtWt BCG ) watch for any battering, from excessive BCG speed. Just sayin' in case you did not know. |

Just sayin' in case you did not know. Went with a Wojtek Arkto. Used them prior without problem, and yeah, I usually start at either closed or a few clicks above when using an AGB. Appreciate the reminder, nonetheless. Barrel is a Criterion Hybrid 16" Middy so it should be gassed okay for regular parts, and should choke down pretty well since the LMOS and standard weight SCS aren't too crazy light. |
