A Police trade-in early 2000s carbine I recently purchased came equipped with this ambi safety selector. On the left side it is a typical non-hotdog selector, but the right side is affixed with an off-center tapped hole and a roll pin. Any ideas as to what manufacturer/brand this selector is? The broken off piece in the thumb switch can simply be knocked out using a 1/16" punch. As for the broken piece in the safety selector, if my memory is correct the entire roll pin was only about 1/4" (.025") in length, so it isn't too deep. Getting it out might be as simple as put a drop of Kroil on it to eat through any possible rust, then grabbing it with a dental pick, or a reverse thread extractor (easy out). If you have access to a machine shop with an EDM machine, that would be a simple and quick way to remove it. If you tried to drill it out, you run the risk of breaking off the drill bit as the roll pin is steel and very small in diameter, so if you choose this route then be careful.
