Got a flat top Colt SBR with a Romeo 7 on it. If you are familiar with it, the battery in it is parallel to the bolt. So the recoil is causing the battery to bounce, as best I can tell. What red dots have y’all had success with on PCC carbines? Pic for attention.

If you have any Astigmatism... a Micro prism scope is a God sent. I also use the Primary Arms SLx's . |

| I have several Primary Arms MD-25's and while not a push button type red dot, it does have auto-live. I have them on everything from 5.56 to .300 BLK, .22lr to 12 gauge 3.5" turkey guns and they have done very well so far. I also like the Vortex SPARC II's and have several of those and they have performed very well. |

Update. Ok, here is what I have done thus far, taking a lot of what y’all said into consideration. I have a few different optics choices here on other rifles from Eotech, Aimpoint, Sig, and Vortex. I wanted to try different ones I have at home before i went out and purchased another optic. I figured I could just repurpose something if need be. Eotech 512 - reticle flicker on recoil Exps2 - Runs fine Aimpoint ACO 1 - Runs fine ACO 2 - Runs fine PRO 1 - Flicker on recoil PRO 2 - Runs fine Sig Romeo 5 (tried 2 different ones) - both ran fine Romeo 7 - Original Red Dot and would come on and off with recoil. Vortex red dot (didnt both with) Holosun 503 - runs fine (this is the optic that is on it now. We will see how this goes long term) If the Holosun fails me, then i will look more into the PA prisim sights. So, nothing new here, but those with batteries that are parallel to the bolt have a tendency to flicker more so then those that don’t or are button types. This little exercise also allowed me to discover that the barrel nut was loose....  |

Holosun 512 Titanium on a 11” and AimPoint Micro H1 on a 8.3” Theres so many good dots out there nowdays,,ya can pick your budget and stick with a good name and usually do well unless your looking for something specific for compition |
