| I think we can all agree ammo prices are insane. I've got the notion that the best way to get 300BLK brass to load is to just buy ammo, shoot it, and reload. I'm thinking a good one to reload is the Hornady frontier ammo. You can still get it under $1/Rd and the brass should be good to go for several reloads. Another one I'm looking hard at is the Sig ammo. Is that brass of good quality to get several reloads from and not have any issues like loose primer pockets? I'd love to hear from folks with experience loading the Sig brass. Also, are there any other brands of ammo y'all have had success getting multiple reloads from with no trouble? Leaving Starline brass out of the discussion for now, and specifically discussing the 300 Blackout case here. Thanks, everyone! |
| At the range I shoot at it’s left on the ground. I pick it up and since I’m making blasting ammo I don’t worry about headstamps. It all seems to load just fine for what I’m doing with it. The only brass I put in the recycle bucket is Hornady because it appears to have a crimped primer and I don’t mess with crimped brass any more. |

Bummer about the Hornady brass, It's worked well for me in other calibers. 300BLK range brass is scarce around here, and I never see any of it with a headstamp from a well known maker. |
