| This thought popped up in my head the other day and it got me to thinking. Earlier this summer I stripped the paint off a couple rifles with citristrip and a power washer and I got to thinking about if water could get forced into the threaded areas of the barrel nut or between the barrel extension/receiver. What do you guys think, if those areas were properly greased before assembly (I know my rifles are) would water seep into these areas from using a power washer or submerging the rifle in water for an extended period of time? |
