This cheap digital night vision scope works better than it has any right to work, especially at moderate range, and with supplemental IR. The digital image is shockingly clear for the price, and it does exactly what I expect of it. I've espoused my appreciation for Bear Creek in other threads, and I'll repeat it here. If you accept the drawbacks, you get parts that pretty much work, at a price point nobody can touch. This is a 300 Blackout, with a Bear Creek 10" barrel. The threads on this 45 dollar barrel are concentric enough that my alignment rod does not touch the can. You can't even get someone to just thread a muzzle for 45 bucks, never mind manufacture a barrel and then thread the muzzle. The value proposition with Bear Creek is off the charts. Subsonics, with the pictured Harvester Evo, are astonishingly quiet.  " />

I bought a BCA barrel in 7.62x39 from a brick and mortar here in Austin years ago for $60. I figured it was inexpensive enough so why not build an AR chambered for that cartridge. The best it’ll shoot at 100 is about 2.5”, but that’s decent accuracy for the machine gun shoot I attend fairly regularly. I had some early mag-related issues, but after some rounds down range those have straightened themselves out. It runs very reliably. At ranges to about 200 yards, 7.62x39 wallops steel much better than 5.56. I’ve been very pleased with my three Jackson purchase. |

I've used a few of their Glock .40 to 9 mm conversion barrels with zero issues. Took the plunge over the holiday on a $200 CHF A2 complete upper with FSB & Carry Handle to build a "Beamy 20 tribute" Everything I've check out on it seems good - except it had a unusual "twisty" FH instead of a standard A2. I've got a bunch of A2 take offs so "not a problem". Going to build a A2 lower next week and see how their CHF 20" shoots.  Bigger_Hammer  |
