This thing is a masterpiece. I put it in my most difficult to tame bolt bounce AR and it just ran. Here she is in all her glory   Boxed in in red is the magic part that moves back and forth giving you the dead blow needed for BB. I’m not sure how it works, looks like Sorcery   Now my most troublesome AR would not even run with the “gold standard” original Kaw Valley triple tungsten buffer  When I messaged Tony to ask him about the adjustment process he told me that while it was adjustable the vast majority of rifles did not require it. So I just popped it in and it ran and ran and ran. When you compare the price  To Amazon or EBay for just the weights   It’s a no brainer. If you need a solution to your bolt bounce woes this is the way. |

Sure wish Tony had come out with this design a little sooner, I have bought a bunch of tungsten weight over the last year, and these dropped about a month after my last order arrived… Gonna keep this in mind when I run out of weights though. Smarter mousetrap and all that, hope he makes a lot of money off them. |

Me too  Wish I hadn’t now But I got tired of mixing and matching to make it work with different gas systems etc  Now Tony needs to make this tech available in the small CQB buffer length and my life will be complete. I’d hazard 75% of my fleet is either Q shorty stocks or Maxim CQB stocks. The only guaranteed fix for these is the KAK DBC carrier. Or convert all the Maxim to carbine length tubes but that’s not feasible to me as there is still no solution to the Q stock dilemma with certain setups. |

They hit the website in early October of 2025, but no one started buying them until after the first of the year. We sold a total of 3ea in October and 5ea in November. I think the market was a bit hesitant to buy a steel buffer after 87,000 ARFCOMer's said a buffer wouldn't work with an FRT if it wasn't aluminum with 3 Tungsten weights....which was incorrect information, repeated 87,000 times. I ordered a Tromix today. I went to the range yesterday and last minute threw together an AR with the trigger kicker in it. Didn’t have a H3 (real one) but did have a Kaw Valley stainless / brass h3 so I figured why not bring it. The KV is for a 6.5g build but I went with an AGB so not sure if I’ll ever use it. I did manage to get it to work sporadically. Palmetto Enhanced trigger group. It felt great. Didn’t even notice and trigger slap. Looking forward to running it with the Tromix. Since I’m in TX it will probably be here tomorrow. 😉 |
| You won’t be disappointed, I’m sure. I got the H2, H3, and H4, all CAR, to try out in a few of my SBRs. Due to surgical recovery limitations, I have only tried the H2 and H3 in my 6.5” .30 HRT and 6.75” .458 SOCOM. Compared to the buffers in them with Tungsten weights, operation is the same, that is, 100%! If I can ever get to the range proper, instead of just tossing lead in the back yard, I will give them a thorough wringing out, including the H4. With just my limited use of them, I’d say Tony has not only reinvented the wheel, he’s made it better! |
