I don’t like battery models since they are heavier and bulkier. Fiber and tritium models are sleek. I have used TA01 for hunting. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TOP OR SIDE DOT.

Check out the REM ACOG, do a search on youtube or ebay, it's a fantastic product that adds a LED externally giving you the best of three worlds. |

I’ve always been a fiber optic acog guy but bought into the idea that the LED would be better. Bought one, it showed up and I popped in a lithium battery to make sure it worked. Thought to myself “wow I get it this is nice I can leave it on 1 or 2 for some good night illum.” Fast forward a couple months and somehow the electronics fried themselves not even being on and just sitting before I could even mount it or use it. Trip back to Trijicon and it works again because they replaced it all but we’ll see if it lasts. Last one I ever buy. I get things happen but when my sample of 1 of 1 breaks without ever even using it, I think I’ll take the thing that I watched straight up never fail in the thousands of samples I had in the Marine Corps. |
