Installed a Disruptor in my brother's PSA 10.5" pistol for him. Used an H-3 buffer and the stock buffer spring. 55gn PMC bronze. Worked perfectly in semi and FRT mode. No failure to feeds & bolt locked back on empty mags everytime. ![]() The Tiggered Company Disruptor in a 10.5" PSA (pistol) |

Well I'm going to have to tear one of my disruptors completely down for a cleaning I think! I've put 2-3,000 rounds of 9mm through it and I'm getting FRT on semi & FRT positions. I'm assuming something is dirty even after a basic cleaning, and a function check doesn't show any problems, only live fire. |

I got mine in May and it started doing that after a very few rounds. Apparently the safety lever was redesigned with a deeper cut. I had to get a new one for the Disruptor and for the Rare Breed. |

I emailed a long time ago about the safety detents but never got a response and things were busy so I've just been running it. I'm not actually sure when it started running FRT in semi; it spends most of it's time in position 3. The malfunction could have begun many rounds ago without being noticed easily. |

If you can share, has any testing for the Wrangler been done using a Galil ARM, SAR etc.? I've been looking into buying the pieces for an AK super safety and modifying it to work with my Galil. I'd like to put the 50 rounder I bought from a member to use. |

Ok, LAT received. Installed the Datum Machine pin capture bushings easily. Able to install safety with the trigger pin out, then install pin. Unable to fully close the upper and lower. Hammer is cocked. I know there’s a trick to pulling the charging handle to allow clearance, but this seems moot as I can’t close the upper. Upper is probably Brownells C7 on an 80% forged lower. Have completed these previously with 5D jig and drill press with no prior issues. Welcome your assistance! |

Welcome your assistance! @SSG-69 With most of my guns, you can close the upper down onto the lower and pull back on the charging handle. It may take a little "force," but it works on all of my guns. Or you can keep the front takedown pin in the upper, drop the hammer, and swing the upper down onto the lower. |

Do the rear pin first, don't do the front pin til after. Rock the upper ever so slightly upwards while gently pulling back the charging handle and the rear should seat. Then do the front pin. |

Try hammer un-cocked, front pin in first then rotate close. Pull charging handle a little and the upper will drop far enough to close the rear pin. |

| For those who have asked, yes, Rare Breed has officially lost their appeal. The lower court ruling in our favor stands on all fronts. It was a Rule 36 affirmation, meaning the court thought it wasn't even close- completely tilted in our favor. |

The judge seemed annoyed with RG to put it mildly. |

A statement from our attorneys: "We’re pleased that the Federal Circuit has now confirmed what we believed all along. Judge Rankin of the District of Wyoming was correct in denying Rare Breed’s motion for TRO and PI, and no injunction should issue against the sale of Peak’s Disruptor triggers. Rare Breed failed to show irreparable harm from the Disruptor sales, failed to show a reasonable likelihood of success on its infringement claim, failed to rebut the substantial question of invalidity as to its patents, and failed to show that the public interest or balance of equities favor an injunction. We look forward to continuing to defend Peak’s rights as the cases move forward.” |

Is it decided that the Disruptor is properly based on the old TacCon patent? |

It means RB's attempt to clear Triggered from doing business while the case is decided failed. Triggered's doors remain open. Nothing more. RBs infringement case lost a lot of hot air, and Triggered continues to sell while they defend against RBs intellectual property infringement claims. Hoffman was not so fortunate when he was barred from selling his own invention 'cause RB bought rights from a false patent holder. |

It definitely could be slight out of spec tolerances with your lower. If you have another mil spec lower I would drop the lat in it and see what it does with that upper. |
