Bout like the stupid chit they did to the old EA lowers years ago, Put speed bumps around the selector, no FRT unless you Want to hack up the selector to go over the bumps, nice lowers In the old colt gray, not an A1 or A2 profile, kinda in-between. Attached File Attached File |

The real novelty of the OA96 was the push button design they made to open the upper that was modified to work with the lowers push button. That lower does not seem to have it but they also milled the top back of the magwell in such a way as to accept an alter spoon so you could use it to load the mag with GI stripper clips. Not sure but I don't think the OA96 lower were 7075. They welded them to the mag a couple spots. I would guess they were maybe 6061. I say that also because I cleaned out a hole in mine and it was really soft compared to working on 7075 lowers. |
